Interlocking Concrete Block Buildings
Virtablocs can be used to construct industrial interlocking concrete block buildings for the storage of plant, materials, machinery and many other uses.
The components of the building such as the block, roof structure, and doors can be constructed off site and then assembled on site within a very short time line.
Virtabloc building are not suitable for heated structures as they do not comply with the building regulations. They are perfect for industrial and agricultural and temporary workshop use.
Example Building
The example below is a design built on a concrete raft. The internal floor space is 12.9 x 29.4m and the height from the floor to eaves is 5.4m.
The roof structure is constructed from steel roof trusses, with z purlins and a single sheet roof cladding system.
Roof lights are provided within the roof to give day light.
The building is fast and economical to build and can be taken down and moved to new locations very quickly. Our Virtabloc buildings are ideal for temporary building that can be used time and time again for multiple temporary work sites.
