5 of the best Construction blogs in the UK

In a world where thousands of words and images are being created and added to the internet, every second of every day, it’s sometimes a bit overwhelming when you start searching for something only to find you are literally spoilt by choice. A bit like when you venture down the Cereal or Toothpaste aisle of a supermarket and can’t quite understand why there are so many different, yet identical products all tempting you to pick them.

However, with all the content out there, and emails clogging up your Inbox on an almost hourly basis, just where should you be going for your updates about topics that affect you and the Construction Industry?

Well worry no longer my friends, as our latest blog, provides you with 5 of the best Construction Blogs in the UK today. These 5 will ensure your time online is, time well spent!

Constructing Equality

What better place to start than the CMA (Construction Marketing Awards) winner for best blog 2014, Construction Equality. Their weekly blog covers everything from Construction issues, to news, and challenges. There are also lots of other great resources on the site, including training workshops and quizzes. Take a look for yourself and make sure you bookmark it http://constructingequality.co.uk/category/blog/

Being Brunel

This is an absolutely fantastic blog and from a Civil Engineer with just enough time on his hands to both blog and publish guest blogs on his website about the issues that matter to the Construction Industry. The site covers everything from technical and Structural to Software and Construction news and is written in layman’s terms. Not hard to see why Thomas had had much joy and success from the blog. http://www.beingbrunel.com/thomas-michael-wallace/

Bam

A website which is all about helping clients deliver sustainable buildings and communities and a beautifully designed blog too. What more could you ask for? The blog offers great reading on everything from energy saving to how businesses can improve their green credentials. It’s well worth a read. Try and save, or bookmark it for future reading too. http://sustainability.bam.co.uk/insights

Construction Enquirer

One of our favourite go-to websites when we need a quick update about what’s going on in the constantly changing world of Construction. The blog is easy to navigate around, has everything you’d expect from a good Construction blog and even has a job spy section for anyone looking for a new role. The brainchild of two British journalists, it’s definitely worth bookmarking, or better still, signing up for their daily newsletter so you can digest their content wherever you are. http://www.constructionenquirer.com/

Construction Index

They are the self-titled Construction Search Engine, and it’s not hard to see why with over 96,000 indexed pages in Google. This blog has everything you could wish for, if you work in Construction from UK and International news to, apps you can download to your devices. They even have their own TV channel! Definitely worth bookmarking this one for future reference and you’ll find yourself revisiting it again and again. http://www.theconstructionindex.co.uk/

These are just 5 of the best blogs in the UK in our opinion when it comes to the Construction Industry.  Are there others we have missed that are your go-to sites on a daily basis? We’d love to hear from you on Twitter if that’s the case and let us know which ones, so we can feature them in our next blog.
